Netflix's new variety show <I Want to Date Even Though I'm a Virgin> (hereafter <Virgin Dating>) held its production presentation. It aims to help virgin singles, who are inexperienced in dating, with their first love through a makeover dating reality show. At the presentation, PD Jo Wook-hyung, PD Kim No-eun, PD Won Seung-jae, and the 'Somemakers' Seo In-guk, Kang Han-na, Lee Eun-ji, and Car the Garden attended to share various stories about the first dating challenges of virgin singles. PD Jo Wook-hyung introduced <Virgin Dating> as "a dating reality show for virgin singles challenging their first love. The Somemakers helped the participants with both internal and external changes. A six-week makeover involving experts was also conducted. It is a program supporting their first love in life," raising curiosity. PD Kim No-eun explained the reason for focusing on 'virgin singles' by saying, "I thought there were characteristics of virgin singles who are trying to have their first love. There was a lot of unexpectedness and authenticity stemming from their desire and expectations for love. I think we can expect a new kind of dopamine that combines unexpectedness and authenticity."

The 'makeover' that changes not only the external appearance of the virgin singles but also their inner selves is the best viewing point. PD Kim No-eun stated, "The makeover was a process that boosted the confidence of virgin singles. I thought, 'They are charming individuals, but why do they lack confidence?' So we prepared a makeover that leads to changes from their appearance to their inner selves. We supported each person's desired makeover, including PT, vocal training, fashion sense, flirting, and psychological aspects. You will be able to see changes in their expressions," raising expectations for the transformation of virgin singles. Netflix's <Virgin Dating> consists of a total of 10 episodes, starting with the release of episodes 1-3 on July 8, followed by episodes 4-6 on July 15, episodes 7-8 on July 22, and episodes 9-10 on July 29.

The 'Somemakers', consisting of Seo In-guk, Kang Han-na, Lee Eun-ji, and Car the Garden, communicate directly with the virgin singles, forming relationships, unlike the observational variety show MCs who usually keep their distance. Seo In-guk, who will play a supportive role for the virgin singles, expressed, "From the moment I first saw the title, I had an expectation that we could show a freshness that has never been seen before, and that was fulfilled during filming. I think it will be a fresh experience for viewers, allowing them to recall their own childhood memories." Kang Han-na shared, "I have always enjoyed watching dating programs. I thought it was interesting and authentic to create a dating program targeting virgin singles." Lee Eun-ji added, "I was really struck by the term 'virgin singles'. Since everyone has their first experience, I think viewers will also recall their first love and first romance." Car the Garden also mentioned 'empathy' as a reason for participation, saying, "I started dating late as well, and I felt that my timing would be similar, which is why I decided to participate."
