Director Lee Sang-geun, who attracted 9.42 million viewers with his debut film <Exit> and created a hot box office sensation in the summer theater, is returning this summer in August with <The Devil Has Arrived>. <The Devil Has Arrived> is generating anticipation as it marks the reunion of Lim Yoon-a, the box office star of <Exit>, and Director Lee Sang-geun. This devilish comedy tells the story of a young unemployed man, Gil-gu (Ahn Bo-hyun), who takes on an extraordinary part-time job watching over Seon-ji (Lim Yoon-a), who wakes up as a devil every dawn, and his soul being thoroughly drained. The production company, Ouyunaegang, which has established a box office invincibility myth in summer theaters every year with films like <Exit>, <Mogadishu>, and <Smuggling>, has released this work following <Veteran 2> last year.

Director Lee Sang-geun stated, "During the pre-production stage, I did a lot of research with actress Lim Yoon-a on how to bridge the gap between the character Seon-ji and the devil, and how to create the voice and acting tone," praising Lim Yoon-a's passion for character analysis. He also expressed his special affection for <The Devil Has Arrived> by saying, "I referred to the performances of existing actors and created it myself, going through a lot of practice and research. As a result, I think the current 'Seon-ji' and devil characters were born." Lim Yoon-a described Director Lee Sang-geun as "a special and human director whom I want to express as 'Lee Sang-geun-like' just like during <Exit>," conveying the birth of a film that breathes with Director Lee Sang-geun's unique color.
