The drama 〈My Mister〉 returns as a play in August 2025 at LG Arts Center Seoul U+ Stage. The drama 〈My Mister〉 received recognition for its artistic value by winning the Drama Award and Screenplay Award at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards, and has been well-received both domestically and internationally.
The play 〈My Mister〉 brings the stories of characters who silently endure the weight of life to the stage, aiming to maintain the emotional essence of the drama while providing new inspiration through the vivid performances of the actors. Director Kim Jae-yeop is at the helm of this play. Kim Jae-yeop has won awards such as the Dong-A Theatre Award for Best Play and Best Script, and previously presented a profound story about humanity in the 2024 play 〈Death of a Salesman〉.
Kim Tae-hyung, the CEO of production company T2N Media, stated, "We plan to present a spin-off play titled 〈Jeong-hee〉 in the first half of 2026, based on the play 〈My Mister〉." The play 〈Jeong-hee〉 will be spotlighted through the perspective of Jeong Jeong-hee by director Lee Gi-beom and writer Hong Dan-bi. It is an unusual attempt to produce two performances based on a single drama, generating much anticipation.
This play features a large cast of actors active in various media. Lee Dong-ha and Park Eun-seok have been cast as Park Dong-hoon. Lee Dong-ha has participated in the play 〈Gihyungdo Play〉, 〈Killology〉, 〈M, Butterfly〉, the musical 〈The Goddess is Watching〉, and dramas 〈The Agency〉, 〈Doctor Lawyer〉, while Park Eun-seok has showcased a wide range of emotional performances in the play 〈Death of a Salesman〉, 〈Trial〉, 〈Art〉, 〈Faust〉, and dramas 〈Penthouse〉, 〈Doctor Prisoner〉.
The role of Lee Ji-an will be played by Kim Hyun-soo and Hong Ye-ji. Kim Hyun-soo has demonstrated delicate emotional expressions in dramas 〈Drama Special - We Were There〉, 〈Penthouse〉, 〈Solomon's Perjury〉, and films 〈Three Days Off〉, 〈The Swordsman〉. Hong Ye-ji has delivered powerful performances in dramas 〈The Crowned Clown〉, 〈Fantasy Romance〉, and films 〈Ordinary Family〉, 〈237〉.
Lee Gyu-han and Yoon Sun-woo have been cast as Do Jun-young. Lee Gyu-han has portrayed various characters in dramas 〈Judge from Hell〉, 〈I Have Waited a Long Time for You〉, 〈Battle of Happiness〉, 〈One in a Hundred Butler〉, 〈Senior, Don't Wear That Lipstick〉. Yoon Sun-woo has convincingly acted out complex inner emotions in dramas 〈Third Marriage〉, 〈Good Job〉, 〈Day and Night〉, 〈Stove League〉, 〈Please Summer〉.
The role of Kang Yoon-hee will be played by Oh Yeon-ah and Jang Hee-jin. Oh Yeon-ah has shown impressive performances in films 〈The Killers〉, 〈Ordinary People〉, and dramas 〈The Evil Spirit〉, 〈Bait〉, 〈Alice〉, 〈Priest〉, 〈Voice〉, 〈Signal〉. Jang Hee-jin has presented delicate emotional performances in dramas 〈Pandora: Manipulated Paradise〉, 〈The Red Sleeve Cuff〉, 〈Flower of Evil〉, 〈Babel〉, and the play 〈Perfect Strangers〉.
The play 〈My Mister〉 is co-produced by T2N Media, Stardoor Entertainment, and Show & Tell Play, with Studio Dragon participating in planning cooperation, and will be performed at LG Arts Center Seoul U+ Stage from August 22 to September 27, 2025. Tickets will be available for reservation from 3 PM on July 9 through NOL Ticket and the LG Arts Center Seoul website.
