The drama <My Mister> returns as a play in August 2025 at the LG Art Center Seoul U+ Stage. The drama <My Mister> was recognized for its artistic value by winning the Best Drama and Best Screenplay awards in the TV category at the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards and received acclaim both domestically and internationally.
The play <My Mister> plans to bring the story of characters who silently endure the weight of life to the stage, maintaining the emotion of the drama while offering new inspiration through the vivid performances of the actors. Director Kim Jae-yeop will lead this play. Director Kim Jae-yeop has won the Dong-A Theater Award for Best Play and Best Script, and presented a profound story about humanity in the 2024 play <Death of a Salesman>.
Kim Tae-hyung, CEO of production company T2N Media, announced, "In the first half of 2026, we plan to present the spin-off play <Jeong-hee> of the play <My Mister>." The play <Jeong-hee> will highlight her life from the perspective of Jeong Jeong-hee, with director Lee Gi-ppeum and writer Hong Dan-bi among the creative team. Producing two performances based on one drama is an unprecedented attempt, garnering much anticipation.
The play features a large cast of actors active in various media. Lee Dong-ha and Park Eun-seok have been cast as Park Dong-hoon. Lee Dong-ha has participated in plays <Ki Hyung-do Play>, <Killology>, <M, Butterfly>, musical <The Goddess is Watching>, dramas <Agency>, <Doctor Lawyer>, and more. Park Eun-seok has shown a wide range of emotional acting in plays <Death of a Salesman>, <The Crucible>, <Art>, <Faust>, dramas <Penthouse>, <Doctor Prisoner>, and others.
Kim Hyun-soo and Hong Ye-ji will play the role of Lee Ji-an. Kim Hyun-soo has shown delicate emotional expression in dramas <Drama Special - We Were There>, <Penthouse>, <Solomon's Perjury>, films <Three Days of Vacation>, <The Swordsman>, and more. Hong Ye-ji has delivered intense performances in dramas <The Prince Disappeared>, <Fantasy Romance>, films <Ordinary Family>, <2037>, and others.
Lee Kyu-han and Yoon Sun-woo have been cast as Do Joon-young. The play <My Mister> is co-produced by T2N Media, Stardore Entertainment, and Show & Tell Play, with Studio Dragon participating in planning cooperation.
