The TVING original series <Yumi's Cells Season 3> has revealed a powerful lineup to awaken the dormant dating cells. <Yumi's Cells Season 3> is a cell-stimulating relatable romance that depicts Yumi (Kim Go-eun), who returns as a star writer, and the cells that still only know Yumi, growing once again and telling a love story as always.
Kim Go-eun, returning as 'Yumi' after three years, is expected to captivate viewers once again with her dynamic acting. Previously, Yumi challenged a new dream of becoming a 'writer' and achieved great success as a romance novelist who steals readers' hearts. However, love remains difficult for her. The cell village seems to have entered a temporary rest, quiet and devoid of excitement, when the appearance of the reindeer (Kim Jae-won) brings a fresh change.
The man who will shake up Yumi's cell village, 'Reindeer', is played by the rising young actor Kim Jae-won. With a sweet face but delivering unexpected 'truth bombs', he is the new PD of the Julie Literary Company, a character with unexpected charm. While it seems that only the 'rational cell' will dominate, the reindeer faces unexpected situations as he takes charge of the emotional cell that is stirred by Yumi the writer. There is growing curiosity about his performance, which will show a heart-fluttering chemistry with Kim Go-eun.
Jeon Seok-ho also returns as 'Ahn Dae-yong', the editor-in-chief of Julie Literary Company. He is the benefactor who debuted Yumi as a writer and the husband of Lee Da (Miram), living a busy life. New faces joining this season also catch the eye. The uniquely charming Choi Daniel plays 'Kim Joo-ho', the representative writer of Julie Literary Company, who is outgoing and has a powerful personality. Kim Joo-ho is a new character not found in the original work, and he is expected to upgrade the drama's fun with a charm opposite to that of the reindeer.
Meanwhile, Yumi's lively assistant writer 'Baek Na-hee' is played by Jo Hye-jung, showcasing a bubbly energy. Miram, who joins again this season, plays the friend 'Lee Da', who boasts a fantastic chemistry with Yumi, adding to the excitement. Additionally, Park Se-in transforms into Yumi's PD 'Jang PD', adding realism to Yumi's writer life. The news of special appearances by actors who participated in seasons 1 and 2 also draws attention. Sung Ji-roo plays 'Kim Man-sik', the 'Yumi fanatic' dad who thinks only of Yumi anytime and anywhere, while Lee Yu-bi returns as the irresistibly charming 'Lee Ru-bi'.
