CJ CGV announced on the 3rd the 'Arko Live' project, which will screen two musicals selected for the 'Creative Arts Production of the Year' by the Korea Arts Council.

Arko Live is a project that transforms outstanding performing arts content into video for viewing in theatres, and the Arts Council and CJ CGV have been jointly promoting this initiative since 2019.

The works being screened this year are the original musicals <Rappaccini's Daughter> and <Incredibly Fun Girls>.

Set to be released on the 9th, <Rappaccini's Daughter> is inspired by the short story 'Rappaccini's Daughter' by American author Nathaniel Hawthorne, and is regarded as a work that explores the complexities of love and the inner fears of humanity through beautiful music.

Set to be released on the 23rd, <Incredibly Fun Girls> is based on the documentary film <Chilgok Girls> and the essay 'Aging Incredibly Fun', depicting the process of grandmothers, who have just begun to learn Hangul, writing poetry and redefining and pioneering their lives.

These two works will be available for viewing at 13 CGV theatres nationwide, including Yongsan I-Park Mall, Daehakro, Seomyeon, and Gwangju Sangmu.
